Nowadays an issue of sustenance is widespread everywhere in the world. Fast food places are in every country. The hottest restaurants are McDonalds, Burger King, and KFC restaurants. There are several debates regarding the pluses and minuses of fast food, however in spite of them, these restaurants are prospering. But what advantages and disadvantages does fast food have? Proponents of fast foods make sure that these foods are safe for human consumption, but critics argue that their effects are dangerous for health.
So, the foremost serious disadvantage of fast food is that it badly effects health and well-being. Firstly, fast food contains plenty of calories, which might cause you to be overweight, and this can be one most vital issues in the United States of America, as a result of, as we are able to see, fast food is generally popular there. As statistics says: one out of 4 Americans eat fast food every day. Thanks to the fast food culture about sixty percent of Americans are overweight or obese.
Unfortunately, this problem issues not solely USA. Furthermore, overweight, in most cases, ends up in problems reminiscent of polygenic disorder and heart disease. What is more scary, is that you can even get sleep apnea, impotence, high blood pressure, most cancers, headache, gallstones, osteoarthritis, depression, asthma, and lower back pain. One more disadvantage of fast food, that isnt shorter than the previous ones, is that it doesnt contain vitamins. Due to those entire disadvantages one might want to think of before choosing fast food.
On the opposite hand, the best advantage of fast food it saves time. When someone, especially mothers dont have time for food preparation it is convenient to grab some food that is already prepared. Everyone is living a fast paced life these days, kids after school activities, work and entertainment t fast food makes everything easier and saves a lot of time. Moreover, shopping for fast food is handeir whereas traveling its hard to prepare a home cooked meal. It is fascinating to note, that the majority of individuals believe that calories are harmful for our health, but this is not true, because human organism wants them for metabolism. We can see, that one meal at a fast food restaurant contains all the calories that you would need for a whole day. So fast food doesnt have to be bad if you consume it rarely. There are also some healthy choices on those menus and dont have to be unhealthy. For instance there is salads and juices on the menus. Besides fast food restaurants are cheaper than the others and this is an extra reason why people select them. To total it up, Im convinced that fast food is more harmful than healthy, but can still it on occasion.
